Participants receive a detailed workbook, work in groups, complete individual assessments and participate in work relevant activities.

 

Workbooks serve as a valuable reference tool back on the job.  Results from assessments help to identify specific areas for improvement.  Participation in group activities enhance the student's relationship building skills and offers feedback on individual behaviors.

Title:               The Leadership Effect  

Description:    This one day workshop is based on the presenter's soon to be published book on leadership skills for non-leaders. Using concepts developed by the author, participants have opportunities to determine their preferred leadership style for integrating their success professionally and personally.

 

Title:           "When Do the Good Things Start?"  A Path to Personal Success.

Description: The program is about your success.  Participants complete a personal assessment to determine where they are in relation to where they want to be. Topics include improving one's self-esteem, the importance of attitudes, the role of emotional intelligence, how to use self talk effectively, and ways to bring about positive change. 

 

Title:               "I'm Okay, It's You I'm Not Sure Of!"

Description:    This workshop is based on Dr. Eric Berne's Transactional Analysis theories. Transactional Analysis has wide applications in organizational and personal development, encompassing communications, management, personality, relationships and behavior. Whether you're in public service, a parent, a social worker or interested in personal development, Eric Berne's Transactional Analysis theories, and those of his followers, will enrich your dealings with people, and your understanding of yourself.  

 

Title:               Networking and Relationship Building

Description:    Networking is not simply meeting or speaking with someone new for what might be a one-time discussion or event.  It is a long-term commitment to learning more about yourself and others and what you can do together that you can't do alone ( or do as well). This course will focus on what networking is and how it can introduce you to a wider range of people who can help you achieve more of what you want and need in life. 

 

Title:               Break Through Communication: Understanding NLP 

Description:    NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is the science of how the brain codes learning and experience. This coding affects all communication and behavior. It affects how you learn and how you experience the world around you. It is a key to reaching goals and achieving excellence.   You'll find it easier to achieve your personal and professional goals by gaining greater access to your internal resources. 

 

Title:               Celebrate What's Right With The World 

Description:    In this video-based workshop National Geographic photographer, Dewitt Jones helps us recognize the possibilities and find solutions for the challenges we face professionally and personally. This inspirational training program utilizes stunning photography and powerful dialog to help participants approach their lives with celebration, confidence, and grace. 

 

Title:               "I'll Take Personal Styles for 500"

Description:    Don't put yourself in jeopardy at work; become more effective in dealing with others.  Determining your personality style and the style of others isn't enough.  You must know what to do about the differences.  After assessing your own style you will explore how to read other people and learn how to lead them to your desired outcomes. 

 

Title:             Structuring Your Work &Time                                           

Description:    This dynamic workshop highlights techniques for more effective self-management.  Participants gain the knowledge and skills to do more with less effort and less stress. 

 

Title:               Communicating For Success at Work 

Description: Communication is the foundation upon which our personal and professional lives are built.  Investing time in developing our skills in this area helps to create more satisfying and productive relationships.  Participants in this program discover their preference for one of four communication styles, identify the various facets of communication, and learn how to use their own style to enhance communication. 

 

Title:               So You're Having a Bad Day - Managing Your Stress at Work 

Description: When stress builds to extreme levels and we are unable to cope, it reduces our physical and mental capacity to be productive. Learning to monitor and control levels of stress so that it is a positive force is a matter of changing our perceptions of stress. This program provides a starting point to help you better understand stress and identify solutions for individuals, teams, and the organization. 

 

Title:               People You Love To Hate 

Description:    Let's face it - there are people you work with, work for, or provide service to that you just can not stand.  While you may not like them any more by the end of this workshop, you will be less stressed and more effective dealing with them. 

 

Title:               Would I Follow Me? 

Description: Your behavior strongly influences the success or failure of your group.  If you were on the receiving end of your own leadership style, how do you think you would answer this question: "Would I Follow Me?"  How a leader is perceived is crucial to the productivity of a work group. Participants gain insights into their own leadership style and develop ways to improve their leadership effectiveness.

Description:    How to avoid those endless, boring, wasteful do nothing meetings is the topic of this workshop.  If you don't do something about them, who will?  Learn how to plan and manage effective meetings.

Description: Your personal journey to creativity at work starts with this workshop.  We all have a little wizard hiding inside of us, waiting to show the world its stuff.  Learn how to let the wizard out and become more efficient and imaginative at our jobs.

 

Title:               Nobody is Listening!  Why Not? 

Description: "If communication is a two-way street, how come I'm going down a one-way road?" Most of us focus on improving our ability to talk, while neglecting to develop our listening skills. The ability to listen and understand is a critical success factor in many aspects of our professional and personal lives. Participants learn how to improve their listening skills. 

 

Title:               Doesn't Anyone Provide Good Service Anymore? 

Description: Ever wonder what your customers, both external and internal, say about your work?  Everyone is a customer service representative no matter what their position in the organization. How well we meet our customers' needs determine our professional success.  Participant learn how to improve your "face-to face" and "on the phone" customer service in this interactive workshop. 

 

Title:               Ethical Reasoning      

Description:    This seminar on ethical reasoning provides a strong foundation for understanding and resolving ethical dilemmas. The seminar uses The Ethical Type Indicator to help participants identify, understand, and explore their own ethical constitutions, core values, and preferences. Six classical ethical belief systems are introduced, and a process of reflective judgment is presented. 

 

Title:               Accessing Your Untapped Source of Success: Emotional Intelligence 

Description:    Experts now acknowledge that emotional intelligence (EI) is the major determinant of leadership success in the workplace. Emotional Intelligence goes beyond general intelligence and technical competency. It is the ability to make your emotions work for you by using them to produce results you want. This program introduces  EI concepts and helps the participants enhance their own emotional intelligence skills. 

 

Title:               Differences That Make the Difference: Appreciating Diversity 

Description:    Each of us comes into the world of work with characteristics and ways of behaving that are the products of our cultural differences. Maximizing and capitalizing on workplace diversity is a challenge for employees in the workplace. The ability to interact and communicate effectively across cultures is the number one interpersonal skill of our time. Toward this end, this pro­gram is designed as an introductory experience in building effective interaction and com­munication in diverse groups.

 

Title:               The Survival Manual for 21St Century Managers 

Description:    A one day refresher workshop for managers/supervisors that reviews team building skills required for the 21st century.  Participants have opportunities to share, compare and contrast their leadership behaviors with their contemporaries.  Group exercises, discussions, video-based case studies and participant presentations highlight the workshop. 

 

Title:             21st Century Supervisory Issues  

Description:   This workshop highlights the various issues supervisors face in today's new culture.  Through video case studies and group discussion the participants explore the following areas:

Title:           Influencing Others with Integrity  

Description: At the successful completion of this program, participants become more effective in their ability to influence others through workplace relationship building skills.  Participants identify their preference for one of four personal influence styles by completing the Interpersonal Influence Inventory. At the successful completion of this program, participants become more effective in their ability to influence others through workplace relationship building skills.
